SOLD 11/2023! This is definitely the 'real deal' and was certainly one of the last true neckthru Tobias basses to be produced in the USA. It's a beauty and it is super-clean! The bubinga body has a nice grain that accentuated the maple/purpleheart neck thru the body. It also has a slab Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 24 frets. The hardware is chrome and the Bartolini pickups are radiused for proper string balance. It has a 5-knob 9-volt preamp with 3-band EQ and an active/passive switch. The bass is not too heavy at 10 1/2 lbs and comes with the Tobias hard case with formfit interior to fit the bass exactly.
